Quicc not only helps you burn in captions to your videos, but we also allow our users to upload SRT files from their videos for personal or documentation purposes for their business.
💻DESKTOP
For desktop users, starting from the Dashboard, click on a video you would like to add transcripts to.
You can follow these steps:
A. Upload the SRT file(s)
1. Choose the video you want to upload the SRT file and click on the icon shown below.
2. Browse the SRT file you want to upload (from your computer or drive).
3. A dialogue box will display, be sure to click on “CONFIRM” to replace the current transcription or to add captions to a video that has no captions.
B. Download the SRT file(s)
1. Choose the video you want to download the SRT file and click on the icon shown below.
2. A ______.srt file extension will start downloading.
📱MOBILE
For mobile users, from your upload page, tap on the menu button (3 horizontal lines) located at the top left.
After that, tap on "Video Management".
You can follow these steps:
A. Upload the SRT file(s)
1. Choose the video you want to change the SRT file and click on the 3 dots.
2. Select "Upload SRT".
3. Browse the .SRT file you want to upload (from your mobile or storage).
4. A dialogue box will display, be sure to click on “YES” to replace the current transcription.
B. Download the SRT file(s)
Select from which video you like to download the SRT File and tap the 3 dots icon.
2. And tap the "Download SRT File"
That’s it! Quick and Easy.
Note: When uploading SRT files, after clicking YES, your transcript will automatically be changed. You can do a quick run-through of the uploaded SRT to verify if transcripts are correct. Don’t forget to click on the “Save Changes” button. When downloading SRT files, be sure to click on the “Burn In Captions” button to create a downloadable video and SRT file.
