As soon as you log in to Quicc, you will see a bar indicator for your video captioning time. Think of this as your minute bank. It lets you know how much you have left.

The blue bar tells you how much you've used, while the white bar tells you how many minutes remain in your account. Minutes get used whenever you upload content in a 1:1 ratio. So if you upload a 2-minute video, we take off two minutes from your bank.

How about the light blue bar? The light blue bar is known as the pending minutes. This happens when you’ve clicked on “Upload to Library”. During the transcribing phase, Quicc displays it on your minute bank as pending minutes thus the light blue bar. Does this mean minutes are consumed? Yes, it does consume your minutes regardless if the video is unsuccessful (unsuccessfully uploaded/transcribed).

Note: You can cancel your video at any time during the upload (click on the 'X'), it will not use minutes from your minute bank however once you’ve clicked on “Upload to Library'' your minutes will automatically be consumed.

When you encounter issues during the upload process, please feel free to send us a message in Quicc Support Chat. We’d always be more than happy to help you.
