Clips

With our new Search update you can now find and search the content you want across your entire video library! Saving these clips is super powerful and can help you:

  • Create YouTube teaser clips from a key topic
  • Save key quotes from Keynotes & course content
  • Grab a montage of every "Friday tip" for the last year
  • Scale your video content publishing process in a fraction of the time with repurposed clips of your best videos

⚠️There are no limits on how many clips you can create - saving clips is available on our Quicc Pro plan or our legacy Growth & Producer plans.

1. How to create clips:

Use Quicc's search feature to find the video and transcript that you want to create a clip from (full walkthrough here). Click into the search result and you will be taken to the Clipping editor.

2. Choose the section of the clip you want to save.

We load in part of the original video (parent video) starting a bit before the search query with some time after your search query. Use the timeline sliders to choose the start and end of the clip you want to save.

  • Your search query is highlighted in teal
  • The lines included in your clip will be highlighted in yellow, and follow your playback.

🔥 Advanced: Fast clipping shortcuts
- You can Left Click a slash between the lines of text to set the start of your clip to the start of that line
- You can Shift + Left Click on a slash to adjust the end of your clip to end at the end of a specific line.

3. Add a title to your new clip & save it!

This is the easiest part! Name your clip and click the Save Clip button to add the clip into your Clips tab under Video Management.

⚠️There are no limits on how many clips you can create - saving clips is available on our Quicc Pro plan or our legacy Growth & Producer plans.

You will be redirected back to your video management page where you will see your clip finishing up it's clipping process.

  • If your video didn't have captions burned in: your clip will be marked ready to edit. Edit the clip just like normal!
  • If your video did have captions burned in: you are done! Your clip is ready to download.

🙌 Congratulations on making your first Quicc Clip! 🙌

We are always looking for ways to make Quicc better for you, let us know how you are using search and clips in your own workflow!
